: Beach location was our primary need, and hotel is right on beach, which is hard to find at any price on South Fork. Felt like 1950s - 1960s, including the town that you could walk to in 2 minutes. Great for families to relax together. Nice to see families gathered on beach in the evening.
: Hotel is kind of a throwback. Loud music from beachfront grill, smokers. Very basic with old carpet and bath, and odd waterfront restaurant. Pricey for level of accommodations.

: I was excited for this trip as I was treating my Mother for a mini vacation.... When we arrived the lady at the front desk was beyond welcoming✔️However everything else was underwhelming... taking the stairs to our room felt like a Hazard as it was about to break( this was fixed on our last day) Wifi didn't work... Coffee pot was very dirty with coins stuck inside of it....Bathroom needs proper up-keep Beds not poorly made... & if you should need to eat breakfast...find somewhere Other than where the continantal breakfast is.
: Didn't like getting bit by something while trying to rest at night..

  : la situation exceptionnelle
: j'avais réservé une chambre avec option vue océan, en fait elle n'était que partielle à l'arrivée, avec du vis à vis et il a fallu payer un (fort) supplément pour une chambre sur le front de l'océan.

: Montauk is a great town!
: On there is no mention of a separate building across thestreet and behind the hotel that you see on the website. I thought myreservation was for a poolside room by the pool that is on the beach. When I checked in and the woman behind the desk pointed to the buildingacross the street, I was shocked. She said "Oh I see that youbooked through If you called to make the reservation, youwould have been told that the reservation would be at the other buildingand that we require a minimum 4 night stay to be at the hotel on thebeach." I paid over $600/night for a room that was just ok interms of furnishings and cleanliness and slept on a pull out bed thatwas terribly uncomfortable across the street from the beach. Verydeceitful!

: The location of this hotel can not be beat. Super close to the beach and town. The rooms are not glamorous but serve the purpose well. Comfy beds and clean enough. I wish each room had a dust pan and broom as the sand gets everywhere and no way to clean it up. The view from our Ocean room was amazing and it was great to relax on the deck. The pool was really nice and the bar and food area were an extra perk.
: The complimentary breakfast is a little ridiculous. They nickle and dime you for milk and fruit for the kids. A glass of milk cost almost $4.00 and you have to pay for coffee refills. The location is convenient for eggs, bacon, potatoes etc. The french toast was pretty bad.
